Named after the French writer famed for capturing the complexity of female existence in prose, comes a dress that celebrates femininity in every stitch and swish. This full length dress is made from the cosiest mulled wine gingham brushed cotton. The high neck, glorious volume and elegant front button fastening create a fluid, elongated silhouette that is softened and enhanced by a wealth of unapologetically feminine details - a garland of hand stitched trellis zigzags in deep spiced cinnamon threads, soft frills around the jawline and an optional sash tie at the waist. And because we know ladies of substance always have more beneath the surface, the Colette dress is finished with pockets, replete with all the weapons of our feminine arsenal be they pens, poetry, pocketbooks ... or phones.

Following the change in US tarrifs at end August 2025 we will be shipping all US orders with duties and taxes included, there will be no additional charges payable.
All UK and overseas orders are sent with tracked services: Royal Mail or DHL. Once they have been dispatched we have no additional information other than what is provided on the tracking link. Please use your tracking reference to contact the service directly if more information is needed. We are not responsible for parcels once they have left our warehouse.
Standard UK delivery is free for orders over £150. For orders under £150 delivery is £4.95 (Standard delivery) and £12.50 for Express delivery.
We deliver internationally and shipping for most countries is calculated automatically at the checkout. If you cannot checkout your order online please email us for an International Shipping quote.
We offer delivery to the USA with either a postal service (approx 10 days) or a faster courier service with DHL (approx 5 days). Delivery to the USA is FREE for orders over $250.
Deliveries to the US and EU are shipped duties and taxes included and there will be no additional charges incurred by the customer upon import or delivery (please note this excludes Switzerland)
All overseas orders outside the UK, US and EU are shipped duties unpaid, and may be subject to VAT, customs taxes and duties. This cost is the responsibility of the customer and is payable on receipt of goods.
