Inspired by the romantic tale of the world's first computer programmer, daughter of poet Lord Byron, this joyful gown is made from acres of herringbone weave, winter-weight cotton block printed with vibrant marigolds gathered into a classic Bishop Smock neckline adorned with a blaze of hand smocked zigzags in bold red threads. The A-line shape, raglan shoulder and keyhole opening create a flattering vertical silhouette that is softened and enhanced by a wealth of unapologetically feminine details - a dainty frill neckline, dramatic blouson sleeves with richly smocked cuffs, a wonderfully generous frill finish, cross-stitch trim and a detachable sash tie. Following the change in US tarrifs at end August 2025 we will be shipping all US orders with duties and taxes included, there will be no additional charges payable.
All UK and overseas orders are sent with tracked services: Royal Mail or DHL. Once they have been dispatched we have no additional information other than what is provided on the tracking link. Please use your tracking reference to contact the service directly if more information is needed. We are not responsible for parcels once they have left our warehouse.
Standard UK delivery is free for orders over £150. For orders under £150 delivery is £4.95 (Standard delivery) and £12.50 for Express delivery.
We deliver internationally and shipping for most countries is calculated automatically at the checkout. If you cannot checkout your order online please email us for an International Shipping quote.
We offer delivery to the USA with either a postal service (approx 10 days) or a faster courier service with DHL (approx 5 days). Delivery to the USA is FREE for orders over $250.
Deliveries to the US and EU are shipped duties and taxes included and there will be no additional charges incurred by the customer upon import or delivery (please note this excludes Switzerland)
All overseas orders outside the UK, US and EU are shipped duties unpaid, and may be subject to VAT, customs taxes and duties. This cost is the responsibility of the customer and is payable on receipt of goods.
