Scarlett O’Hara, Liesl von Trapp, Beth March and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Bennet are our inspiration. Together these literary heroines encapsulate the spirit of the collection. What ties them together is not era, but emotion. Each dress holds a different expression of it.
This classic girl's frock takes its name from Scarlett's little sister, India, and as such carries the O'Hara sense of drama, place and family. It is also the name of Leah's daughter and so felt like the perfect fit for the Mummy and Me style in the collection.

Our girl's fit is “Classic British” meaning dresses are designed to hit just below the knee. At the beginning of the age range dresses will reach to mid calf; at the upper end of the range they will hit above the knee.
Due the way our hand smocked pieces are pleated and sewn, our clothes offer a very versatile fit - there is natural stretch in all hand pleated smocks. For this reason we offer fewer, bridge sizes. This means more room for growth and less waste.
All of our pieces are designed to be passed down generations when handled with care.
