Sizing
Due the way our hand smocked pieces are pleated and sewn, our clothes offer a very versatile fit - there is natural stretch in all hand pleated smocks. For this reason we offer fewer, bridge sizes. This means more room for growth and less waste.
Below you will find measurements for our Girls' and Women's Sizes. Please note that as our pieces are made by hand, there will be natural variation between pieces so the measurements below are approximate. If you have any questions, do come and talk to us hello@smocklondon.com.

Kids Sizing
Kid's Fit
In general our girl's fit is “Classic British” meaning dresses are designed to hit just below the knee and blouses sit at the lower waist level. At the beginning of the age range dresses will reach to mid calf; at the upper end of the range they will hit above the knee.
Most of our styles will comfortably fit your child beyond the age range specified: elasticated sleeves, tie straps and sashes allow you get as much as possible from each outfit. Better for you and better for the planet.
