A process that takes patience, precision and years of experience. From the beginning, our goal has been simple: to safeguard this heritage craft while creating meaningful work for the women who practise it.

We are proud to share that Smock London has now been awarded the Butterfly Mark certification from Positive Luxury. The Butterfly Mark recognises luxury brands that meet higher and higher standards for people and nature following an independent assessment across environmental impact, social responsibility and governance.

Following the assessment, Smock London achieved the following scores:

Environment — 75%

Social — 98%

Governance — 90%

For us, this recognition reflects the values that have guided the brand from the beginning: craft, community and care.

The Butterfly Mark also represents an ongoing commitment. Every two years we must undergo reassessment against evolving sustainability standards.
