The Marie Stopes Skirt for Women in Control. Named after the founder of the first birth control clinic for women comes this hand smocked needlecord beauty. Made of a rich navy needlecord, the skirt features a deep hand smocked waistband emblazoned with our stacked lattice smocking design in beautiful tonal threads of Swedish Blue. Gently elasticated on the inside, the high waist gently hugs the hips for a super flattering smooth fit, framing the tiered skirt full of swish complete with pockets. Pair with one of our Scholl blouses for a statement look or combine with a merino polo neck for a sculptural silhouette to take you through the Winter.

Sizing
Size S is designed to fit a UK size 6-10 /US size 0-4: it measures 92cm from waist to bottom hem and will fit waist 62 - 100 - 89cm
Size M is designed to fit a UK size 10 - 14 / US size 4-8: it measures 95cm down the front from neckline to bottom hem and will fit waist 66 - 114cm
Size L is designed to fit a UK size 14 - 18 / US size 10-14: it measures 98cm down the front from neckline to bottom hem and will fit waist 70 - 120cm
Due the way our hand smocked pieces are pleated and sewn, our clothes offer a very versatile fit - there is natural stretch in all hand pleated smocks. For this reason we offer fewer, bridge sizes. This means more room for growth and less waste.

Kid's Fit
In general our girl's fit is “Classic British” meaning dresses are designed to hit just below the knee and blouses sit at the lower waist level. At the beginning of the age range dresses will reach to mid calf; at the upper end of the range they will hit above the knee.
Most of our styles will comfortably fit your child beyond the age range specified: elasticated sleeves, tie straps and sashes allow you get as much as possible from each outfit. Better for you and better for the planet.

Smock London delivers to the all areas of the United Kingdom. Standard delivery is free for orders over £100. For orders under £100 delivery is £4.95 (Standard delivery) and £9.50 for Express delivery.
We also deliver internationally and shipping is calculated automatically at the checkout.
We offer delivery to the USA with either a postal service (approx 10 days) or a faster courier service with DHL (approx 5 days). Delivery to the USA is FREE for orders over $200.

All overseas orders are shipped duties unpaid, therefore orders shipped outside of the UK may be subject to VAT, customs taxes and duties.
